The Berry College Career Center hosted a career and internship fair today, February 21, for it’s current students and alumni. The event exposed to prospective employers the best the college has to offer as far as students, and their willingness to work post-college. While today’s job market is particularly employer centric, allowing students to familiarize themselves with the local business community is good practice, and gives them forward knowledge of what is available job-wise in the Rome area.
Set up in the Krannert Ballroom, a steady flow of crisp blue pant suits and new double breasted coats populated the newest annex to Berry’s student union. The most serious of students attended early and stayed late while curious undergraduates flowed in an out for the duration of the two hour event. Some of the careers and internships on display were sponsored by local organizations like Rome Chamber of Commerce, State Farm, Eby-Brown, Enterprise Rent-a-car, and Wells Fargo Bank. Metro YMCA, US Department of State, and Cobb County Department of Public Safety also made themselves available at the fair. Berry College and it’s Career Services will certainly profit from events like this, hopefully the Rome community will also.

Brooke and Ryan, a delightful couple from California with one of the sweetest love stories. They chose The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach, Florida for their wedding and reception. All of their guests flew from other states to share in this day with them. Brooke was just the {cutest thing} and matched well with a handsome and succesful businessman. This wedding was surely about them, their tastes, their dreams, their “flavor”.
The ceremony was held on the terrace overlooking the beach. Her colors were PINK, lots of PINK, with her love of the beach and BLING coming thru on the details.

For people who travel extensively for either business or pleasure, understanding how to add United States pass port pages will eventually become a necessity.
